In Cairo, we are lucky enough to have thousands of restaurants around, many of which turn out to have delicious dishes that we get addicted to. Many Egyptians dream of the day that adored chain eateries such as Cheesecake Factory and countless others that reside in other countries, would open in Egypt. For that reason, we’ve rounded up the 10 chain restaurants that we wish would go worldwide. Tell us your favorite chain in the comments
Shakeshack may not be your fancy gourmet burger, but it’s still one of the best burger places in the world. There is something about the Shack burger, probably its soft fluffy bun enveloping a juicy beef patty that’s covered in cheese, tomato, lettuce and their secret sauce. Shakeshack’s burgers are just the perfect size where in one bite, you taste the delightful mix of all the burger ingredients. Delicious! Just look at it!

2.The Cheesecake Factory
Never underestimate the power of cheesecakes (or the rest of the dishes on their menu). Opening the Cheesecake Factory menu is like opening an encyclopedia book. There are so many options to choose from; it has about 200 dishes and 50 different cheesecakes. After going through the entire menu, you narrow it down to 5 or 6 dishes that you can’t choose from and you end up consulting the waiter about which dish you should choose! That has happened to me countless times. Has it happened to you?

When craving Asian noodles, there should be only one place to go to and that is P.F. Chang’s. In my opinion, it beats the likes of Panda Express with its authentic Asian flavors and recipes. They have signature dishes such as the Mongolian Beef, the Dynamite shrimps, the Chang’s Chicken Lettuce Wraps, but P.F. Chang’s always changes up the menu and provides new offerings. Please come to Egypt!

Hands down, the best pancakes I’ve ever had! For many, this iconic destination is known for its best comfort food that keep spicing up its dishes by adding ingredients such as Nutella, brioche, pumpkin and pudding. What I love most about them is that they have a lot of options to choose from and their breakfast is available all day every day!

Chipotle, Taco Bell’s older healthier cousin, has been one of the few restaurants that makes one feel healthy while eating gigantic burritos. Every bite has the perfect balance of cheesy delight and burrito satisfaction!

6.Le Relais de L’Entrecote
At Le Relais de L’Entrecote, the food choices you have are either steak or steak! There is literally one dish and that’s the best part. There is no hesitation; you know what you’re eating and you just dig in. There is also an unending supply of French fries. What could be better than that!

Red Lobster is one of those spots you hit because you have a favorite dish on the menu that you can’t find anywhere else. If there’s one thing RL constantly does best, it’s the actual lobster. During Lobsterfest every year, Red Lobster gets more innovative with the menu than any other time or with any other promotion and that is something to look forward to if it was here in Egypt!

When one of its signature dishes is a plate of dough, you know they’re doing something right! The success of Pizza Express is in keeping the classics tasting the same after all these years – the service is great, the taste is delicious and you get what you pay for.

There are so many varieties of the Krispy Kreme doughnuts that you could never go wrong with – even just the basic glazed doughnut from Krispy Kreme has the power to achieve instant foodgasm, so you can imagine the kind of craziness that would occur if Krispy Kreme was to open in Egypt. The craze that happened at the Dunkin’ Donuts opening will look so trivial!
