El Gouna Film Festival second edition has wrapped successfully, the festival had great judges and critics to select some of the best movies from around the world to be featured this year.

The movie revolves around Bishay a recovered leprosy patient that still lives in a leprosy habitation, as he yet to overcome the stigma of his disease.
However, he decides to leave for the first time for a journey of discovering where he came from.
The movie is moving, heartbreaking and quite the cinematic experience.
Tunisian drama directed by Mohamed Ebn Attia, it revolves around a middle-class family enthusiastically planning their son’s future only to discover that he left to Syria for unknown reasons.
The film is highly acclaimed worldwide.
The Day I Lost My Shadow
Written and directed by Soudade Kaadan, a fictional drama set in 2012 in Syria.
About a besieged area where everyone mysteriously lost their shadows.
Directed by Bassam Jarbawi a Palestinian drama revolves around Ziad who is having difficulties adapting to his life after being released from jail following an attempt to murder an Israeli settler.
Directed by Marcelo Martinessi about two descendants of wealthy families that have been together for over 30 years, when one of them goes to jail over fraud charges the other is forced to break out of her shell to rediscover herself all over again.
The Man who Surprised Everyone
Directed by Natalya Merkulova and Alexey Chupov.
Imagine finding out you only had two months left to live what will you do?
Luckily, you don’t have to face that situation, but Egor did, when he discovered that he had cancer, traditional medical procedures nor unconventional alternative couldn’t save him, he chooses to take the identity of a woman as a desperate move to avoid death.
Indian thriller directed by Rahi Anil Barve, Anand Gandhi and Adesh Prasad set in the 19th-century revolves around Vinayak who is obsessed with his ancestors dark and mystical past.
