Egypt’s nightlife scene has come a long way. With so many choices of late-night hangouts and dance clubs in Egypt, it has most certainly become difficult to select the best of the best. We’ve asked around and many night owls contributed their picks for the best nightlife spots in town. So, now that this year has come to an end, we’ve narrowed down our list of the top 10 nightlife spots all over Egypt in 2017.

Located on a busy strip overlooking the Nile, Pier 88 has proven to be one of the best spots in Cairo this year. This bar meets club venue has made it big since the day of its opening night. Since day one, Pier 88 has presented its own concept and has made a big name for itself. Go big or go home, right?

This cozy bar and stage, located in a busy neighborhood, has achieved the “It” place status. We can’t not include Cairo Jazz Club within our list on “best of 2016”. It has become a local hub of a musical institution with an active schedule of famous DJs and bands performing every night. We love going there on Wednesdays!

This summer fantasy dance club has been the go-to place this summer at the North Coast. It’s been the place to see and be seen. Party animals adopted this two-level location as their hub for the summer for good reason. 6ix Degrees definitely reinvents itself and makes a night out more than just some drinks at a local pub.
6. U Bistro & Bar
Located on the most popular street in Zamalek, U Bistro & Bar offers a fine dining experience alongside cocktails by the bar. This restaurant-meets-bar venue is definitely here to stay!

This indoor and outdoor venue is another staple at the thriving restaurant-meets-bar scene in Cairo. Regulars swear by its stellar selection of Asian food and chill atmosphere. What we love about Kazoku is that it fits all occasions – whether it’s a business dinner, a romantic date night or a night out with friends.

This dance club is considered the savior of the nightlife at the North Coast even before it opened. While reservations are really hard to score, the lines may be quite long and the dance floor can get a little too crowded on weekends, but it’s totally worth it!
9.The Tap East

Fairly new in the neighborhood, The Tap East opened earlier this year and has easily made it on our list. With a spectacular laid-back outdoor area that is perfect for an afternoon brunch after a boozy night, needless to say, the Tap East is one of the best things that happened to New Cairo this year!

This wild spot established itself as a definitive way for partiers to let loose and lose their inhibitions by dancing the night away, just about every weekend in the North Coast. With its popular exhibitionist nights such as “Mahragan Heshek Beshek” along with an array of DJs, musicians, dancers and singers on retainer, Tabla is constantly finding new ways to set itself apart from its competitors.
